FAQ & Tips

What is customs inspection?

Parcels sent abroad must go through foreign customs, and customs inspection of parcels is usually spot-checked. If Customs consider your package to be special (e.g. large volume, heavy weight or containing sensitive items), they will usually proactively contact the recipient to provide an invoice or customs clearance documents. The cost of returning or destroying the package due to inability to contact the consignee or the consignee's lack of cooperation in actively contacting Customs will be at the consignee's expense.
